Knox Little Athletic Centre (23)
The Knox Little Athletic Centre (KLAC) is one of the largest centres in Victoria and conducts it’s competition at the Knox Athletic Track, entrance via Bunjil Way, off Ferntree Gully Road (Corner Scoresby Rd) in Knoxfield Mel Ref 73 D6. It is affiliated with the Victorian Little Athletics Association (VLAA) as member number 23.
The KLAC consists of 11 member clubs, of which Rowville Lakes is one of them, and is responsible for the organisation of weekly competition, open days, championship days and representative teams. In addition the KLAC handles all matters related to administration and communication with the VLAA. The KLAC has an elected executive drawn from the member clubs and has many sub committees to look after things like competition, grounds and equipment etc., it publishes a regular newsletter and has an excellent website www.klac23.org.au that is updated weekly throughout the year.
Knox fields team/squads in all region and state competitions and all athletes registered at the KLAC can compete for Know at these events in the distinctive black and yellow uniforms.

Inside the Rowville Lakes Little Athletics Club
Rowville Lakes is a large club within the Knox Centre and is the youngest of them. Our club uniform is a maroon singlet with blue trim with ‘The Lakes’ proudly displayed on the back. This is worn in conjunction with black shorts or bloomers. All performances by its athletes are recorded and all club records acknowledged. In addition, all athletes can achieve medal recognition for achievement of personal best levels. Trophies are awarded for participants as well as best in age groups, best overall and significant achievement. Encouragement awards are also presented by the Team Manager and President.
